The Office Season 5 Finale
Last night was the Office Season 5 Finale and as we have seen in the past, whenever we see David Wallace appear in an episode you can guarantee that people will stop being polite and get real, it seems wherever he goes there is awkwardness, agonizing silences and heartbreak.

Last night had to be one of the most emotional, intense and painful episodes. This was certainly the case with Company Picnic, one that we will all remember. Company Picnic began with the staff exploring their lives, and it was certainly hellish for some of them.

Michael fell asleep in the middle of eating a family-sized chicken pot pie, the gang think that it would be funny to move all of Michael’s clocks up to 4:50 just so they can leave early. The stunt was done very well; it was like watching a bunch of Marines in action.

What a weak season finale. I’m really let down. Way too much Jim & Pam mush in the last 2 or 3 episodes. I live for The Office but this finale was definitely sub-par.

Hey, we all get different things out of this show. I could say I wish… “that this happened”, or that I wish “so and so…” was more featured in this episode. At the end of the day, this show is one of the best all round programs, and when i mean best i mean a matter of excelling in ALL areas. We see comedy, drama, suspense, and more specifically the human condition; betrayal, unrequited love, loyalty, emotional frailty and courage among many others. Regardless of whether it satisfied YOUR OWN PERSONAL longing…it is STILL a EXCELLENT program that I wish would never stop entertaining us in more than a superficial level ie. some sub-standard piece of formulated drivel to stimulate our brains while we relax. This show has got to be on par with Arrested Development for its subjectively creative writing that a significant proportion of the population can relate to and absolutely relish in!! Bring it On!!
