Farrah Fawcett Update: Lack of effective cancer treatment
Farrah’s Story was meant to be a documentary about Farrah Fawcett and how she wanted to put her point across about the lack of effective cancer treatment. However, it seems as if the documentary was not put across in the way that it was meant to be, something that has executive producer Craig Nevius is suing over loss of creative control for.

In an exclusive interview with the Los Angeles Times, Nevius said that NMC told Farrah, “This is your story. We’ll tell it your way, in your words.” However, the producer feels that this did not happen.

Farrah Fawcett always had it in her mind that she wanted this documentary to be edited like a movie, while using her diary for narration. The actress said that she did not want the talking head format, but that is what she got.

Farrah is most upset that her intended message did not get out; she did not want it to be a tribute to herself.

Nevius, DROP YOUR LAWSUIT! Farrah Fawcett has six weeks or less to live. Next time you see her, she will be janudiced and close to death. I only pray that you will wake up and smell the coffee. Stop hurting Farrah – she’s a nice lady and not for one moment does she deserve the nonsense you bring to the table.
Do the right thing while there is still time. Do it in Farrah’s lifetime. Drop your suit and try to find something constructive to occupy your time.

  2. Farrah Fan says:

Everyone that saw the documentary will get something different out of it. Arguing over the value of what the documentary achieved is absurd. The producer should be comforting Farrah and assuring her that it was a great piece of work, that her fight is well fought and her efforts are courageous. She’s won. We’re proud of her and for her.

I can’t believe there are such heartless people in the world, so money hungry and sue happy. Wake up get over yourself, people matter more than money!!!!!!!!

  4. carmen says:

Farrah is a wonderful and brave person, I can’t believe people take advantage of her being sick.

  5. John Miller says:

Farrah, we love you. You’re movie was inspiring, groundbreaking, original, and very moving. You make a difference in my life, and millions. Keep on fighting. You WILL win.

  6. Leslie says:

Nevius, you self-centered, egotistical poor excuse for a human, do what’s right while Farrah is still alive and tell her what she needs to hear. She made a valiant effort and deserves kudos for that. Your behavior is truly despicable.

  7. June says:

Beautiful Farrah, you’ve blessed us with this insightful documentary. In no way was this production about anything but a healthy, vibrant person fighting for life against a vicious invader. Let them say what they will, because the facts shall remain in the end. By sharing this story, you display a heroic justice, more than you know. I will continue to pray for your fight to survive. With God’s blessing, I’m sure you will have more to do on this earth. Sincerely, A fan of your spirit. God bless.

  8. Doris says:

I cannot believe that Mr. Nevius would resort to such low-life tactics, please, get a life. To Farrah, God bless you and may he give you strength to continue fighting. I am praying for you.

  9. Sandy Knight says:

    Farrah,
You are one of the bravest most beautiful souls ever. Your documentary was probabably the best I have ever seen. A real person, that we all love, telling and showing the struggles she has endured to hold on to this precious life. This should have never happened to you. But you wanted to air it to the world to perhaps reach a million others going through the same pain as yourself. It has awakened many eyes to your struggles and the struggles of many. Thank you for the many years we have loved seeing you, but now I feel I know you. And you are more beautiful on the inside than the outside. Keep up your faith and I will pray that you can still overcome these terrorists that are attacking your body. I will remember you forever. I wished I owned just one thing of yours that I could cherish and hold on to forever. I love you Farrah. Stay strong, keep fighting.
    Love forever,
    Sandy
I bought a beautiful porcelein angel with beautiful wings today, I named her Farrah.

  10. MELSTER says:

This is a great example of greed and selfishness at it’s very worst. Leave Farrah alone. Now is not the time to be lawyering up- She’s on her death-bed, for heaven’s sake.

  11. Guy Smith says:

Farrah, I hope you know how much you are so loved throughout the world, I only wish you would have been instructed to use the conventional methods of cancer surgery. You are an inspiration to millions, and are more beautiful than ever. The Lord will bless you. Our Angel.

  12. Rita says:

I don’t usually respond to this sosrt of blogging but I wish that I could tell Farrah a few things. First of all to talk to God and make sure that she is “saved” so that she can go to Heaven to be with the Lord when she does die. The KJV Bible says in John 3:16: ” For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 3:23 says: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (We are all sinners.) Romans 5:8 says: “But God commended (showed) his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (God loved us so much that he sent his son Jesus Christ to die for us.) Romans 10:9 says;”That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” God wants to “save” you from the punishment of Hell. ( All you have to do is trust in Him to take you to Heaven!) You just need to understand that you are a sinner and the punishment for sin is death in Hell. You must realize that Jesus loves you and died for your sins. Ask Him to “save” you from your sins and take you to Heaven whan you die. You can pray and ask Him. He will listen.
Next: I saw part of the documentary and saw that some natural supplements were being taken. I wish I could have told her about natural health supplements and the type of “Natural Health Doctor” that I see. I haven’t been diagnosed with cancer, but I have some liver problems that have been helped with “liver flushes” and am only currently using “Natural Health” type remedies for my health problems. I honestly don’t know if I would use “Chemo” since most of the people that I know of have usually died from the “Chemo” killing the “good cells with the bad”. I wish I could have told her a long time ago to use supplements that go directly to the cells in the body quickly. Farrah has been one of the most beautiful women that I have ever seen! What a smile! If by some chance Farrah hears about these blogs, I’d like her to know that I am praying for her and her family!

  13. Karen says:

I guess I’m different. I think Ryan and Alana are highly suspect. I believe Farrah probably meant to say more in her documentary. If this man Nevius knows there are people around Farrah taking over her project, and sucking money out of the situation, he has an obligation to say so.

  14. Karen says:

I also think it very suspicious that Alana and Ryan are claiming she was watching this documentary with them, and is “overseeing” everything when Farrah didn’t even recognize her own son. Highly suspect. Highly suspicious. I think Ryan stands to make a truck load of money off this. Always a bad sign. Where there’s money, there’s always corrupt and cheezy behavior. I think this whole “she’s dying, no she isn’t, she’s dying, no she isn’t” and keeping the world tuned in to Farrah’s demise is disgusting. Tacky.

  15. Lesley says:

I am in the middle of treatment for cancer, stage IV and I am appauled at Farrah’s treatment. Why was no port implanted to make infusions and injections of medicines’ painless, why no seditives to dull the pain when undergoing those very painful procedures? My biggest WHY, why no first line chemo at diagnosis? So she was going to lose her hair, a minor consideration when life or death is involved. I found it utterly incomprehensible.

  16. TreatCancer says:

I agree with Lesley. Farah’s treatment has clearly demonstrated that her protocol is both useless and scary. There’s lots of drama in running from country to country, but clearly, treatment was ineffective.

Some doctors will do anything for money or publicity, but to kill Farah and save her hair? Moronic! They should go to jail. And why no port? Afraid her skin will look bad?

This was the most pathetic cancer treatment possible, and I feel Ryan and the doctors should be held responsible for not helping Farah and allowing her to die without proper treatment.

  17. NurseRiverBoat says:

In America, the USA, all cancer patients are given CHOICES of what sorts of cancer treatment they want and they also reserve the right to REFUSE treatment. How Farrah came to the unfortunate position she is in now is entirely up to her decision making abilities. Not her MDs. Your doctor can advise you but he or she cannot MAKE you accept a treatment. Farrah wrongly flew to Germany for ghastly treatments that would NO WAY be approved in the US. Sticking a metal prong into her liver while she was awake is merciless. And to what avail? Farrah lost about a year in Germany, seeking Quakey treatments. She should have stayed in the US, gone to City of Hope, gotten the colostomy and aggressive chemo. She’d be in a whole lot BETTER shape had she done this. AGAIN – this was HER decisions and she will have to face the consequences for choosing experimental tx over established tx. God bless her though – she ’s suffering and will continue to suffer till the bitter end.

  18. Leslie says:

I agree with NurseRiverBoat 100%, but the bottom line is, Farrah made her choices and none of our opinions really matter, even though this blog gives us the chance to state them. It’s very frustrating for people like NurseRiverBoat and others in the medical profession to hear/read about her choices, I am sure! I had cancer in ‘06 and am cancer free now and the experience altered my life emotionally and physically. While I am very happy to be alive, I will never be the same person again in any way.

  19. ducker says:

I don’t think anyone can prove that Farrah would be healed and all right if only she had followed the protocol WE believe in. However, I reckon WE would be more comfortable if she died following the good old American allopathic way.

I guess we are all frustrated that she is dying and that the protocol she believes in didn’t work.

OTOH, many, many people I know and know of who had cancer, did all the “right” treatments and suffered through chemo and radiation “our” way and died anyway!

I share the magical thinking that if you had done what seems right according to MY belief system, then I can let you go softly into the good night.

But this isn’t about me. Farrah made her treatment choices according to her belief system and I’m sorry that didn’t work. Frankly, I’m glad she was permitted to make her own decisions instead of having a specific treatment forced upon her.

I wish I could make all the decisions about treatment and life, just as I have done with my beloved pets. But society doesn’t permit that.

Farah Fawcett has done a great job using her celebrity status for a good cause, in light of and despite her cancer
