Early in 2008 we was all shocked to learn that Patrick Swayze had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, but even more shocking was his odds of survival. Pancreatic cancer has a very low survival rate, just five percent. For all his fans, a new biography called “Patrick Swayze: One Last Dance,” has been released.

You have to admire the strength and courage that Swayze has shown, as he refuses to slow down. CMR explains that the Dirty Dancing star went ahead with his TV drama “The Beast.” Patrick Swayze stars as an FBI agent, and the actor has been nothing but professional on the show, while battling through his pain.

Patrick Swayze: One Last Dance takes an in-depth look at his life, and shows his dedication to his craft, as well as his strong will to live. I have to say that I am so shocked and touched at the strength of Patrick, and it shows that no matter what, you should never give up.

    My thoughts are with Patrick and Lisa at this time – Patrick did more for ladies of a ‘certain age’ in one sweet little film (DD) than all the doses of HRT ever produced.

    Hey Patrick,
    Hang in there for as longest you can. I tried to get my brother too but he gave up. He died May of 2007 with lung cancer. The doctor’s gave him everything that they are doing for you, but my brother was hurting so bad he just gave up. My cousing also had lung cancer, he died in August of 2007, but he fought it for over a year. He did everything that the doctors told him to do. The way I look at things I would fight it until God get’s ready for me. he will send for you at that time. So don’t give up until then. Hang in. We all is praying for you. I love your show’s. You will be missed. Just Please don’t give up. God Bless You & your family. Take care.

    Dear Patrick i try to follow what is going on in your klive withthe battle against cancer. i have known people with the desease one of them was my sister. i find it an terrible desease.     Dear Patrick,
    I wish u all the strength and hope that the lord can give. My grandpa just past 2 months ago from the same cancer u are battleing now. It unfortunately spread to his lungs. He was away when he past and was unable to say goodbye. I pray for you everyday and from the last update it sounds like the lord is preparing to take u home. I’m not a real religous person but I know my grandpa went to a good place and so will u when your time comes. I pray u have plenty of time to say goodbye to your loved ones, because it is very important. I wish you and family strength, and love for life. Good luck!
