Well, who would have thought that we would see another Terminator movie? According to suntimes.com, there is a sequel and it’s called “Terminator Salvation.” I loved the original Terminator film, with those famous Arnold Schwarzenegger words, “I’ll be back.” What does the new film have in store for us?
The movie will show a grim future with Skynet trying to wipe out all humans. Christian Bale, star of “The Dark Knight,” is said to be cast as the now grown up John Connor. The film is set in 2018 and Judgment Day has come and gone. Survivors have organized in to the Resistance, with Connor as leader.
Connor joins forces with Marcus Wright and tries to infiltrate Skynet and save teenager Kyle Reese, who is actually Connors father sent from the past in a younger form. Sounds rather confusing don’t you think? Christian Bale was originally asked to play Marcus, but the star said “I want to be John Connor.” It will certainly be interesting to see if “Terminator Salvation” lives up to the others.
