2009 Indianapolis 500, Sarah Fisher and The Daily Show

Indy race-car driver Sarah Fisher decided to pay a visit to the studio of The Daily Show and Jon Stewart recently. According to motorsport.com, she is the second race-car driver to guest appear on the show. She is preparing herself for the Indianapolis 500 mile race.

Sarah Fisher and fellow race-car drivers paraded onto Herald Square and then gathered at Calvin Klein headquarters for a media luncheon. Sarah said “I’m really looking forward to the Daily Show with Jon Stewart tonight.”

She appeared on The Daily Show to share with Jon her accomplishment on qualifying for her eighth Indianapolis 500, and the fact that it marks the most number of starts for a woman in the 93-year race history.
