I love One Tree Hill!!!!! I'm so happy that it will be returning for a seventh season. I

hope it's not true that Murry and Burton will be leaving. Cause I think Murry is H-O-T-

T..HOT!!! And the show will not be as good without them. They came with the show, they

should leave with the show.

I am a huge 24 fan and loved season 7 - Granted, it wasn't as good as seasons 1-4 but personally it's a hell of a lot better than other dramas out there, namely 'Lost'. That took me 12 episodes into season 1 to get bored. 24 did lose a little bit of it's grittyness that it had abundance of in the beginning but things have to move on. You cannot expect full on action TV in every hour, thin sdon't work like that. I cannot wait till season 8 and the movie that will follow to end the whole Drama. After it all finishes i can't wait to start on season 1 and follow the life of Jack Bauer once again...it is the best thing on TV bar none - and i even have started to enjoy the Books that have been published about previous days set before season 1. My fiance thinks i'm sad for liking it that much but i just can't help it - i thank you all for listening and i bid you farewell...

While season 7 was not up to par with pervious seasons(1-4)
i thought season 7 could have been better then what it was more so with the time off cause of the writers strike.
What you ppl fail to understand is its hard to come up with a good plot year after year.So should fox consider maybe ending the series on a high note? yes they should. Will they? no
i have been a fan of 24 from the begining and unless it goes down the drain badly i will be a fan til the end

maybe fox should consider moving the series from tv to the big screen????

I don’t hate 24. It used to be a great show. It’s just a shame the writers got lazy and it’s become full of contrived plots and predictable twists.
Why are the writers so determined to keep with the same format every season? I just don’t get it. With Jack being taken on the Chinese ship at the end of 5 and the military coup in Africa in 24:Redemption there’s a lot of scope to do something new. How much more can be done with Jack Bauer stopping terrorism threats against America? Doing the African genocide thing was genuinely a good idea. There are a lot of countries in the world with more interesting threats and governmental issues than America. I think the writers know this too. Or did they just watch Hotel Rwanda and think “oh, imagine if Jack Bauer was there.” So the next season’s set in New York? Yawn. More of the same “Where is the device/bomb/terrorist??!!” as before no doubt

I think this season was definitely better than 6, but nowhere near as good as the first few 1 - 4. I didn't particularly care for Jack being a superhero... How come he's only vulnerable to small guns but never any automatics? And how lucky for him that he woke up from a drug induced sleep in time to grab a scalpel, kill his immediate captures just before he is transported, and escape from the warehouse to stop Tony's plan. I'm also curious as to what the exact number of times the writers used Tony going from good to bad and then bad to good as a plot twist (and was it every 3rd episode?). I was happy to see Elisha Cuthbert, but I'm gonna assume the writing was so bad that it sucked out any acting skill she has.

The truth is the more I'm thinking about this past season to write this entry, the more I'm boring myself and I do not want to do this anymore. Maybe next season the show can be called 12 or maybe even 8 (as in hours as in episodes as in 24 episodes is too ambitious and it's getting lame).

Whoever posted the last comment is clearly not a 24 fan. This season was so amazing!!!! We all knew that Tony was coming back because there was no silent clock after he "died". But the battle between whether he was good or bad was so intense! I love Tony and just kept wanting for him to be good... btw Jack and Tony battle was epic. I love 24 and after a sort of falling out in season 6, 24 is back and better than ever! I love it and can't wait until season 8!!!!!!! And Woodie... if you hate 24 so much, why do you invest your time in posting online about it? The Whitehouse story was good too... Aaron Pierce is a badass, Olivia sucks, and the president is gonna hook up with Ethan.

What a hugely disappointing season, and what a shame that this once genuinely compelling show now relies on terrible, sappy, cliched plots to try and provoke emotions from its audience.

Despite Season 7 beginning quite promisingly, it just got worse and worse. Kim being brought into the story in the way she was the most lazy writing. Basically, they just took her plot from Season One, i.e. Jack's family being used as leverage against him, and condensed it into an uninspiring, predictable airport scene that fizzled out just as soon as it begun.

The Tony Almeida, is he a good guy or a bad guy plot was so laboured that by the end I just didn't care. The real intrigue in his story was how the hell is he still alive, which was answered in the most unfeaseable, ridiculous way possible. Henderson resurrected him? I can't believe people just bought this. I'm willing to suspend my disbelief as long as there is a genuinely well-worked, thought-through plot device to offer some justification for the unrealistic.

The White House story was only marginally better ,apart from the ridiculous mid-season white house infiltration which felt like I was watching a 24parody comedy. Compare that to the Palmer story...Laughable.

And now to the ending..Well, that was just like admitting how bad the season had been. The first cliff hanger I couldn't care less about. The actress is ok, but they haven't given us anything about Renee's character to become emotionally invested in, to make us care what she does to Alan Winkle, or whatever the hell is name is (again, don't care.) The the main cliff hanger is a plot device they opened about seven episodes ago! Cheap and lazy.

It's a shame. 24 Redemption was quite good and I had reasonable expectations but that will be the last episode I watch...
