Creativity in CSI Miami Season 7 Finale

CSI Miami has just aired its finale and here is a quick recap on season 7’s ending. So if you have not seen the finale yet, you might not want to read on any further. According to herald-dispatch.com, the season had to have scored creativity points as it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger.

Calleigh apparently warned Erik not to go and see his father, who was actually an accessory to murder of a police officer. But Erik decided to go and see his father anyway and tried to convince him to find some way out of the Russian mob. Next thing we see is Erik, driving his dad through a shootout between police and the mob.

Then we saw Horatio and Tripp find the car that Erik was driving. But there is no sign of Erik and his father is unconscious on the passenger seat. When he wakes up he tells them he hasn’t got a clue where Erik is. Calleigh runs in on the scene and asks if she hit Erik with a bullet.

Erik’s father told Calleigh he didn’t know. All he did know is that Erik was bleeding and lost control of the car. The episode finally ends with Calleigh walking away from the scene in tears and then the camera just goes to Horatio and then sweeps across the swamp.
