England's 2018 World Cup Bid
Prime Minister, Gordon Brown was one of the people that attended the official opening of the World Cup bid last night. He wanted to show the governments support in trying to persuade Fifa that England should host the flagship tournament.

According to guardian.co.uk England executives promised that they would banish the British National Party from any future events after Richard Barnbrook was allowed to attend. It was classed as embarrassing to the bid team and apologies were made.

John Barnes, who is an ambassador for the bid , was due to attend but was called away on international duty for the Jamaica team he manages. The key to England’s hopes of hosting will be on the votes of four African executive committee members at Fifa and the bid team have been working long and hard to forge relations with that continent.

Seeing as other BNP members have said that Theo Walcott should not play for England because he is black, I dont see what value there was in inviting one of there members to the launch.

What would happen if we get a BNP Mayor of London or a BNP Prime Minister? Would these organisers not invite them?
