Patrick Swayze Has Not Died

A sick rumor had started to circulate this morning that actor, Patrick Swayze had died, a representative for the Dirty Dancing star issued a statement saying that he has not died. You have to wonder where these sick rumors come from; it is good news to learn that it was just a sick rumor.
The Hollywood Reporter has said that Swayze’s publicist Annett Wolf said in her statement, “This is to confirm that Patrick Swayze did not pass away this morning contrary to severely reckless reports stemming from a radio station in Jacksonville, Florida.” She also added, “Patrick Swayze is alive, well and is enjoying his life and he continues to respond to treatment.”
The news that started at a Jacksonville radio station, then it was repeated on a German TV news channel, then the sick rumor was picked up on Twitter. As you would expect, it did not take long for the rumor to make its way around the world at a very fast rate.
Just to repeat, Patrick Swayze has not died.

I’m totally glad The Swayze isn’t dead. God’s trying to make him die of cancer because Heaven isn’t badass enough without him. No way, I say! We need to keep The Swayze here with us.
Seriously though, I’m glad Swayze is okay. Out of all of the celebrities that get discussed on the Internet, he’s the only one who doesn’t get trashed with negative comments. Sure, he’s subject to speculation and rumors, but his character is always treated with respect. It’s a testament to who he is as a person.
