Rapper Dolla Killed: Shooting at Beverly Center
21-year-old up rapper, Dolla has been killed in a fatal shooting at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. Dolla, real name Roderick Anthony Burton II was an up and coming rapper who was just starting out in his career was shot in the head on Monday.

CNN reports that police have detained a person at the Los Angeles International Airport, in connection with the shooting. Dolla, from Atlanta, Georgia, was working in LA recording on his debut album. He received a lot of attention from R&B singer Akon when he was just 12, while performing with friends.

The two artists collaborated on Dolla’s first single, Who the F— Is That?” Dolla also had his song; “Feelin’ Myself,” appear on the “Step Up.” movie soundtrack. Funeral services for the rapper will be held in Atlanta.
