Cynthia Nixon and Christine Marinoni Engaged

Actress Cynthia Nixon, who is famous for her role in “Sex and the City” announced recently that she is engaged to her girlfriend Christine Marinoni. According to rightcelebrity.com, the couple went public with their engagement on Sunday, but have actually been engaged since April.

The couple was at a gay pride event when Cynthia showed off her diamond ring. The star then asked the crowd, “Does me and my girlfriend getting married have any effect on you and your wife, or you and your husband sitting at home?”

If a bill to allow same sex marriages becomes law in New York, then the couple is planning to get married there. Cynthia met Christine back in 2002 and the couple fell in love. The “Sex and the City” actress then left her long time boyfriend. I’m sure fans will be wishing her all the happiness.
