Kris Allen is American Idol 2009 Winner

You can never count yourself out, as underdog Kris Allen is the winner of American Idol 2009, beating favorite, Adam Lambert. Allen is now the eighth winner of the show, and many viewers of the show are so happy that the clean-cut country boy is their new Idol.

This is the most shocking result since the show started, we had all but resigned to the fact that Adam Lambert was going to win the show, even American Idol Judge and co-creator Simon Cowell, often said that he was the complete package and was sure to win the show.

News Daily said that before the winner was announced, Ryan Seacrest said that this had been the most popular yet, receiving just a fraction under 100 million votes, that beat last year’s show which received 9.75 million. We would like to congratulate Kris Allen, let us hope that he become one of the better American Idol, such as Kelly Clarkson.
