I’m sure all you boxing fans may still be talking about the Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton fight, but now there is another fight scheduled that might be a good one. According to boxingscene.com, Floyd Mayweather Jr will be taking on Juan Manuel Marquez on July 18th.
Floyd’s true fame apparently came at the welterweight division, with big names such as Shane Mosley, Paul Williams and Zab Judah. It was Judah that Mayweather took on and defeated. Floyd has decided to fight Marquez in a bid to recapture his throne.
Floyd Mayweather wants to try and prove that he is the sports best. Marquez is the 135lb champion and has shown in previous fights that he is willing to go all the way. He is a worthy opponent for Mayweather. Who do you think is going to win?
