Last night was the first of the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent and we certainly saw a mix of people to kick them off. The first to perform were Diversity and in my eyes they definitely deserved to go through to the finals that will be held on Saturday.

And one of last night’s semi-finalists was Susan Boyle, the singer from Scotland. We did an earlier post on Susan Boyle’s audition and how she wowed the judges and the viewers and we also mentioned about her YouTube video and the amounts of hits she had got.

Well I expect everyone was thinking the same as me last night. Can Susan Boyle pull it off a second time? Well I think I can speak on behalf of most people when I say that she certainly did. She was absolutely amazing and went straight through to the finals, which she deserved.

    She seemed pretty nervous at first – voice a bit trembly, but she certainly sang well and did a great job at the end. She certainly looked lovely and performed well. I didn’t particularly like the cheeky hip roll she did during the commentary – very unladylike – but perhaps that is part of her personality and ‘take THAT’ attitude coming through. I thought Diversity did a better job in their performance, but so what? Of the two, I’ll pay to see Boyle perform in a musical!

    She just proves that good things can still happen to people. Everytime I watch her, tears comes to my eyes. How happy she must be!!!! She is finally being heard and appreciated!!!

    I heard this voice on the television while working in another room and I stopped and ran to the television because it was the most beautiful singing I had ever heard. She has the most beautiful voice that I have ever heard and I am 55 years old. Truly beautiful.
