European Soccer Championship 2009: Barcelona Win 2:0

Early today we asked our readers who they thought would win the UEFA Champions League Final 2009, and that poll currently has 61.0% (520 Votes) saying Manchester United and 34.0% (292 Votes) saying FC Barcelona.

We can confirm that European Soccer Championship has been won by Barcelona with a 2:0 victory. So it looks like the 34% were correct, although we’re sure this is not to the delight of the massive Manchester United fan base.

This is the third time FC Barcelona have been crowned European champions, which stopped Manchester United being the first team to successfully defend the UEFA Champions League trophy.
