With Saturday night’s finale of “Britain’s Got Talent” fast approaching, we have seen many good and bad performances throughout the show so far. And it has got people from all over talking about their favorites and who they would like to see crowned the 2009 winner.

And according to Entertainment Weekly, it has also got the stars talking, including singer Lily Allen. She has been known to be a bit of a sharp-tongued celebrity and doesn’t always keep her opinions to herself. And apparently recently she commented on blogging site Twitter about “Britain’s Got Talent.”

Allen was supposed to have claimed that she thinks the Scottish singer Susan Boyle was overrated. And also added that Susan could sing but if it was about talent then Shaheen should win. Do you think Lily’s right in any way or do you think she is totally wrong?

    Lily Allen’s supposed views on Susan Boyle’s singing competence would suggest that Lily shouldn’t put herself forward as a judge on this show, or who knows where the show might finish up.
    I personally – a total outsider to the pop world – have to confess to never having heard of Lily Allen, let alone heard her sing, but would like to, just to see if she could possibly match Susan Boyle for a)voice range b)pitch c)performance competence d)diction e)timing f)all round singing artistry, all of which are only attained through long, hard experience. Perhaps I’m wrong about Lily, but rather fear she may be one of those singers, like most Pop Idol wannabees, who believe that apeing an American accent, using the voice like a badly-tuned violin, hitting high notes as though playing the lead in Scream II are in themselves qualifications for good singing. Oh yes, I forgot, it also helps to be accompanied by a semi-naked video of oneself. Forgive me if I’ve got it wrong Lily.

    Who is Lily Allen ? Susan Boyle is already an international star even before she has released a record.
    Shaheen is cute and has a reasonable voice but his diction and articulation last night left a lot to be desired which is why the funny but averagely talented Stavros Flatley beat him. Shaheen has the ability to be a star but not for a number of years.
    Instead of sniping at Susan – Lily Allen should follow her example. A little humility and a recognition that Susan is someone who is already a bigger star than her.

    Lilly is so right on this one!
    Susan surprises with her voice and is a good singer, I think there are thousands of women who could give her a run for her money on the talent stakes though!!
    Shaheen however is extremely talented and i think would stand out even if he wasn\’t only 12!
    It\’s hard to see beyond the looks and sob storys to the talent but i reckon it\’s about time we did!!!

    I listened to Lily’s songs at youtube. Man!! Who is she??? Her voice is just ok. Her song is so damn plain… just like ‘talking’ instead of ‘singing’. She’s so cocky!!! She needs to see her self before talking about others.

    I feel that James has said it all. Susan is very talented. Who exactly is Lily Allen? Sometimes, people just have to offend others to make themselves feel good or to get attention.

    Susan is 100000 times more popular and a better singer . shaheen cant sing . in fact I Can sing better that him and im simon cowell. i want susan to win the show and except my propozel. can you belive it that 3 days ago she said that shed get back to me. weve only slept together 49 times. go sexy susie . and watch britains got ****ing talent

    i think that susan boyle has got to much credit, yes, she can sing but she is not as good as some of the other competitors, she is talant, but you didnt see anybody talking about her fault at the start of her semi-final song, but thats just y point of view, it may not be true ad you may not agree, but i just wanted to rant…

    Who the Hell does lilly allen think she is To Lord it over others? lilly is a silly foolish little girl who wouldn’t know tallent if it bit her on the bum as she has none. I saw her on The One show and she was hidious. Susan is a down to earth human being from scotland with a big voice. not a high and mighty lovey from London. I can only assume she feels threatened when she is faced with real tallent.
