Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode: Tumour Removed

Singer Dave Gahan, from Depeche Mode is recovering from recent surgery to have a cancerous tumor removed from his bladder. And according to guardian.co.uk, he will return to touring on June 8th.

Fans could read the message that was posted on the band’s website about the singer having a severe bout of gastroenteritis, which led to his hospitalization and further tests showed the low-grade malignant tumour in Dave’s bladder.

It has now been successfully removed, but the band did have to cancel a series of shows after Gahan was taken ill. The website has confirmed though that the tour will restart early next month and Dave has to ensure he is fully recovered.
