While we are facing hard times, a lot of Hollywood studios are shooting fewer movies, but it seems that DreamWorks Animation SKG is doing quite the opposite. They are working on “Kung Fu Panda,” “Madagascar” and “Shrek” sequels.
According to latimes.com, DreamWorks plan to make an additional movie every other year. DreamWorks Chief Executive Jeffrey Katzenberg said at a conference recently that he believed they had achieved such a high level of success.
They will be releasing eight feature films through 2012 including sequels to “Shrek,” “Madagascar” and “Kung Fu Panda.” Other movies are said to include “Puss in Boots,” in which actor Antonio Banderas reprises his “Shrek” character.
