Susan Boyle vs. Stavros Flatley: Why she may lose

Susan Boyle vs. Stavros Flatley: Why she may lose?
The nation thought that they had seen the most surprising act on “Britain’s Got Talent” when Susan Boyle entered the stage and shocked the judges and audience with her performance. And we all thought that we had found a possible winner, but then we got Stavros Flatley.

Susan Boyle vs. Stavros Flatley: Why she may lose

The Greek-Cypriot, father and son dance act were the funniest act I have seen. Their first performance was funny enough, but their semi-final performance was even funnier. According to abcnews.go.com,they both came out on stage wearing nothing but red fez hats and white skirts and proceeded to do a Greek dance.

Both acts have now gone in to Saturday night’s final and I personally think that Susan Boyle may have a bit of competition on her hands with Stavros Flatley. Don’t get me wrong, Susan Boyle does have an amazing voice, but Stavros Flatley has brought lot of humor to the talent show.

Stavros Flatley is the most PATHETIC act
    I have ever seen.

  • Debora

Oh Please you must be kidding, If Britian is that stupid to choose Stavros Flatley over Susan Boyle I will be ashamed to admit I am of British Decsent. A fat father and Son team acting rediculous is not what I would call a real talent.
I really hope the Brit’s haven’t completely lost their minds. Mr. Bean was flippin bad enough. Please get a little class and choose Susan. Make the country look better.

You gotta be kidding. Stavros Flatley are very good but Susan Boyle is great. Hope Stavros Flatley continue dancing, though. The father and son could lose some weight.

Debora, britian has changed everyone likes to have a good laugh at acts which most people like and think are funny,Stavos flatley is talent but they are a diffrent and new talent in which is diffrent from the same old singers and dancers etc… Susan boyle is so over rated and i rather see Stavos flatley win the show

    STAVOS FLATLEY 2 WIN!

I watched Susan Boyle on YouTube today, for the first (and 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th) time.

I don’t know how special she is. I only know that, watching the performance from introduction, cynicism, shock, to ovation, it brought me to tears.

I wonder if it was more the surprise than anything else which has brought her to stardom? It still brings tears to my eyes when I watch it (again and again).

  • Kim

I disagree. Stavros Flatley isn’t funny at all.

  • Marianne

For the fourth time, “you have got to be kiddling!” Stavros Flately are a variety act, but Susan Boyle is fantastic. She has been a “major CHANGE OF FRESH AIR” for the entire world, thanks to Youtube. I really hope she can pull it off on Saturday, especailly if she can do her audition number, “I dreamed a dream”, because if she can do her original song — HER DREAM WILL REALLY COME TRUE”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Susan Boyle will not win.

  • http://None Lauren

I am only 11, but I totally disagree. Stavros Flately are NOT amusing(well, better than Darth Jackson, but you get my point……. lol!)

Susan Boyle deserves to win! She has been starved of oxygen, teased at school, laughed at by the Britain’s Got Talent audience, and called fake by the newspapers.

I have just called in for Susan 23 times! My mum sed I have to use all me pocket money for it though… :(

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but:

    GO ON SUSAN!

  • http://None Lauren

The only reason I sed I was 11 is to show that my pocket money is not a lot, in fact I owe mum £3 as my pocket money won’t cover the 23 votes I made for Susan!

  • John

No one cares why you said you were eleven, and no one cares about your pocket money.

Susan Boyle was average, and Stavros Flatly were hilariously funny. I can’t believe they didn’t win, but I suppose Diversity deserved it =/

Funny how all of the anti Stavros stuff is generally coming from women…. and they say they haven’t had their humour gene removed? We have singers coming out of our pores, what this country needs is a bit of old fashioned variety and a good belly laugh; Stavros Flatly I salute you dudes.

  • Gez

Well, I’m a woman and I really enjoyed Stavros Flatly. It’s what this country needs.

John – your comments to Lauren were harsh – she’s only a kid for goodness sakes.
