The one moment of spine-chilling magic in the whole BGT series was Susan's initial performance, when she sang unselfconsciously for the sheer joy of it. As soon as I set eyes on her in the final it was plain she was paralyzed with the fear of expectation. The first thing that goes when a singer is in that situation is breath control, and, sadly,it showed, so she could never do herself or that lovely voice justice. No other competitor had to face the colossal pressure placed on her by the relentless, and often vicious press comment, certainly not Diversity. Whilst they are talented, I could not imagine too many people sitting through a one-hour Diversity TV special, whereas Susan would pack \'em in. I imagine the Queen will dutifully sit through their act, and sundry jugglers, etc., but suspect she would actually enjoy a song from Susan. I also thought the saxophonist a superior act to the winners. Chacun a son gout.

The results of this poll show that people are condescending douchebags. The only reason Susan Boyle got so far in this competition is because you shallow fucks could not fathom that an ugly person could sing decently, and now you're upset because you PITY her. Even if Susan Boyle WAS that good, how can you say that Diversity wasn't good enough to win the prize. Truly a sickening display of all you peoples' unwarranted self-importance.Diversity absolutely deserved to win.

i liked diversity as soon as they first stepped on the stage. great attitudes, good manners, a love and respect for each other and what great dancers! the humor thrown into the dance routines was utter genius. they made me laugh, they made me cry, they amazed me, they kept me glued to the tv and entertained me. they were the best of the best at what they do and deserved to win. i'm a 41 year old door supervisor and i'm sure many people of all ages can relate to them because i did. the queen will love diversity, as her majesty is only human

the father and son act stavros flatley made me cry tears of laughter, but most of all tears of emotion.the music the dancing the fun the whole act was amazing.the queen would of been looking forward to seeing them because thats what the variety is all about.diversity were good, but there is no surprise to the act,the queen will not relate to them.the stavros would of made her laugh and cry at the same time.there was just something unique and special about them,i wish them good luck and know they will be entertaining people for a long time if not the queen every body like me who was amazed at the first time i seen them.

Of course Diversity deserved to win, they were voted to win by the public vote - simples!

I think that the bookies based their predictions on the original programme showing of Susan's audition, and the response to her, ignoring and failing to take into account the talent that followed. I don't believe that the subsequent press coverage of Susan had a signiificant effect on people voting for her, after all she did come second.

The press can be guilty of writing articles about events before they have actually happpened and rarely undertake actual research - it is they that got it wrong (would cite an author whose name who has slipped my mind).

Diversity were amazing and fully deserved to win.

Gosh! I find the result of that poll surprising....at this stage it says 57% say Diversity were not the right winners..How wrong!!!...I thought they were absolutely the outright winners...Throughout the competition they were consistently excellent and improving every time not with their performance because their performances every time were perfection but they improved on their content...each time better than the next....so imaginative, so polished, so different with humour and such sharpness ...I couldnt take my eyes off the tv wondering what would happen next...amazing!...some of the others took the easy option and just gave us a repeat of their auditions....no risk..no improvement..I did feel sorry for Aidan though I thought Simons comments were hard...reducing Aidan to tears..I was thinking oh no! not again!!...at least he came up with something different tonight and with so little time to rehearse....I take my hat off to him. I thought he was great..but please next year no kids under 16!!!...its not fair on them...and uncomfortable for us to watch them breaking under the pressure...Cant wait to see Diversity again...and I totally disagree with your poll...I thought they stole the show...Deserved Winners..Well done Diversity!

Youngsters doing their own thing and getting recognition for it! They have done something positive for themselves, instead of so many hanging around bus stops etc and getting upto mischief. Good for them!
