Video: Susan Boyle Final Performance
So did Susan Boyle win Britain’s Got Talent 2009? The quick answer is no, but after watching Susan Boyle’s final performance in the video below you may be surprised to hear she lost. I have to say that this was her best performance to date, but Diversity were also great and managed to beat Boyle.

I feel that Susan Boyle has had a hard time with the British Press, and for that reason, the public seemed to fall out of love with her, this was part of the reason that she thought about quitting. This is certainly a shame as she is a great talent, but I am sure that her career will not suffer.

Ok so Susan Boyle did not win Britain’s Got Talent 2009, but I am sure that she will get a record contract, and who knows a part in a West End or Broadway show. For those of you, who missed Boyle’s final performance, watch the video below.

Great Job Susan. You are a real winner. I feel honored to have had the opportunity to hear you sing today. The world fell in love with you because you are special. The world needs more people like you. Congratulations.

Susan is God sent. May she come to know Jesus our Saviour intimately and glorify His name for extending the Kingdom of God.
May God continue to bless you Susan!

  • Lynn

She is the Seabiscut, underdog racehourse, of our times; the hope that that keeps all of us striving to reach our dreams. Without her in these bleak times we would still be lost and think all is lost. Thank God for Susan and the other people in the world who never give up. Never.

What a shame the British media won Britains Got Talent.
I hope Susan gets to perform in front of the Queen, she deserves to.
Congratulations Susan on having a million dollar performance, even with the might of the lowlife British media on your shoulders.
You needed to be protected from them Susan.
I admire you so much for not only your talent, but also your fortitude.
The people all over the world, including me in Australia, cast their vote before the Media tried to poison the phenomenon of you Susan, just to get their story.
Well I sat and watched you over and over because, for too long I believe our values have been out of control. All of the millions spent on fake makeovers, selling, clothes, material rubbish.
You alone Susan, along with the economic downturn, showed us all, including the media,a way of appreciating basics again.
You showed our reliance on ‘perfectly manicured’ appearance, by the initial attidues. Then you blew all of the million dollar fakeness away and sang like an angel.
Please stay as you are but aim to sing in front of the Queen. It will happen but don’t let anyone but you make a million dollars out of it. When you make your million, don’t change.
    All the best,
    Suzanne Roberts. Australia.

Way to go, Susan! My husband & I have been following your phenominal saga. We thought you would take top honors, but even though someone else did, you should’ve. I know you have a spectacular singing career before you. Everyone who loves to hear a truly beautiful voice like yours will be wanting to hear more & more of you. Just don’t let it ruin your sweet personality, because you will be so much in the public eye. Show business can be brutal. Take all your new fame & adoration with graciousness & humility. Yours is a God given talent so remember to be thankful to Him for that & keep yourself well grounded & be careful not to let anyone take the wrong advantage of you.
    Congratulations!

    Dearest Susan,

I also am 47. You remind me of the woman in Sound of Music who kept bowing. A little quirky like another idol in charge of the Soul Patrol. I love your originality. There\’s no one like you. Your music is a blessing to all hearing people. Your tone is pitch perfect. I don\’t think I\’m alone in saying we love you just the way you are. I pray that you will find someone you can trust in the industry who will educate you to all of your possibilities and that you will have great success with the one YOU choose. Your mother would be so proud of you. Come see us in America…You have inspired and encouraged us…for that we thank you.

  • Mario

Superb performance Susan, if you ever have the chance to read this, I want to tell you, you are a very special person and my idol. I thank God for the opportunity to hear your voice. Congratulations and do not let anybody to annoy you, you are the very best.

    Susan,

Greetings from Bermuda and thank you for being such an inspiration to so many people, the world over. We have only known you for a short time, but you have touched those of us who have been privileged to have heard you sing.

We have all been awaiting your finale performance on the show and we were not disappointed! We wish you well as you take your next steps. Please know that we will be with you all the way and once again, thank you.

  • Kate Fraser

Great and gutsy performance Susan. A lot of the English press has been horrible, trying to spoil things for you. You didn’t win the show contest but you are a winner. You have proved yourself to be someone with real talent. Good luck in the future.

Susan, you have the best singing voice I have ever heard. I can’t get enough of your music. I hope to be able to purchase one of your recording in the near future.

I am so angry at the newsreporters for slandering you. I have great admiration for you still doing the show after all the bad presses. You are my hero.

We all love you and your remarkable talent.

    With much love and admiration.

    Dear Susan,

I -also- got tears of joy in the eyes hearing you sing and replayed your performances over and over. Can’t wait for your first album … but as other warned you: take your time, talk with the Lord and pick the right persons to guide you in the show-bizz.
    With lots of respect, Rudi.

I don’t get it. Why was she allowed to sing that same song? kind of Johnny one note. why should she win singing that same ole song. where is her range?

Don’t you know another song you could have sung, Susan?

  • Delores

    Susan,
I love hearing you sing and think you are very spunky. I may not be able to come see you on stage somewhere, but I can always buy a CD, and will. I hope only the best for you. Good Luck

  • Larry

Actually Susan has won the biggest contest of all…global fame! And she has already sang for every high ranking offical in every industrialized nation on the globe.

I’m sure that the Queen HAS heard Susan sing and is very proud of her fellow countrymen.

Long live Susan, Queen of Scots!

“Diversity” was excellent! But within the usual and the expected. Susan was unusual and unexpected! She brought tears to many eyes, joy, excitement and admiration to many hearts, wonder and shame, perhaps, to many a prejudiced critic! Susan. Be of good cheer! Don’t let any bit of disappointment overtake you. From the vantage point you are now standing only turn your eyes to God, accept Jesus, by faith, as your personal Savior and start serving Him with the wonderful voice He’s given you. Thus you’ll win the contest of the divine over the human, the heavenly over the earthly, the eternal over the temporal and ephemeral; and what’s infinitely more and better, you’ll live with Jesus in ineffable bliss and happiness for ever and ever!

  • E. Kang

    Dear Susan,
Thank you for the gift you have given us all, not only your voice, but your character. You are so yourself on stage, gracious and honest in your reaction to the audience and judges, singing without reservation, from your heart and soul, and it truly must be, for no nerves to affect you. Being a musician I know the feeling of being nervous and not, when the music is sure and true. You are amazing. It would be an honor to meet you, hear you sing, maybe play music together, and meet your cats. My best to you, and thank you for sharing your music with us all.

    Flutely

  • E. Kang

p.s. This is why God gave us a voice!!

  • Lorraine

Give me a break. SUSAN WAS THE WINNER HANDS DOWN. Diversity was good and very talented for that genre but Susan’s singing brings your blood to boil. She’s marvelous!

  • http://www.christianmessage.gr Markos

We are deeply concerned about Susan’s health condition. We pray God will restore her quickly and completely, so that she may use her beautiful voice to sing His praise. Get over it soon, Susan!
