2009 MTV Movie Awards Winners

It was the 2009 MTV Movie Awards last night and according to courant.com, it certainly wasn’t short of things going on. Apparently it even involved Sasha Baron Cohen, who is best known for his roles as Ali G and Borat, came down and literally dropped into the seat where rapper Eminem was seated.

There were some great winners of the night though. Best song from a movie went to “The Climb,” Miley Cyrus from “Hannah Montana: The Movie.” Then the best “WTF” moment went to Amy Poehler for the scene of her peeing in the sink in “Baby Mama.”

Best Kiss went to Kristen Stewart for her kiss with Robert Pattinson in “Twilight.” The best fight was Robert Pattinson vs. Cam Gigandet from “Twilight.” The winner of the best villain category was Heath Ledger from “The Dark Knight.” Best comedic performance was Jim Carey in “Yes Man.”

The breakthrough performance female winner was Ashley Tisdale from “High School Musical 3.” The breakthrough performance male went to Robert Pattinson for “Twilight.” Best female performance went to Kristen Stewart for “Twilight.” Best male went to Zac Efron and best movie was “Twilight.”
