Tennis fans may all know that it is currently the French Open and according to bbc.co.uk, it was Britain’s Andy Murray that beat Marin Cilic to reach the quarter-finals. Murray apparently started off really well and earned himself two break points in game one.
Cilic, who is a 6ft 6in right-hander, then responded aggressively with a fantastic return that Murray could only net. It seems as though Murray has improved his speed around the court recently. Murray then wrapped up a set with an un-returnable serve.
The second set started with Cilic having a love hold, but then Murray leveled at 1-1. Then he cranked up his game and took a 2-1 lead with a great forehand cross-court winner. Cilic then had to call for the trainer to treat a thigh problem. Murray now had the 4-0 lead. He then served out to take him to victory.
