I’m sure all Pearl Jam fans will be pleased to know that their new album is set to hit Target this fall. “Backspacer” is the group’s new anticipated album and will be promoted by an appearance on Conan O’Brien’s Tonight Show on Monday.
And according to lalate.com, it is Pearl Jam’s first album without a label, as they have recently ended an 18 year contract with Sony. It will hopefully hit Target on September 22nd. But the new album will not just be exclusively for Target.
Although Pearl Jam, who was formed in 1990, has confirmed that Target will be the sole big retailer of “Backspacer,” there will be other smaller music stores that will be selling the new album. And the first single off the new album will apparently drop in July.
