Whitney Houston Comeback Album: Release Date Sept. 1

Whitney Houston is about to make my wife very happy, as we have just learned that the troubled singer is another step closer to her comeback. It has been announced that the release date for her much-anticipated new album will be Sept.1.

Sadly, there are no other details yet, so we do not know the title and who has been working on the album with her, but it will be interesting to see if she still has that powerful and awe inspiring voice that we got to love all those years ago.

E Online reports that Whitney Houston, 46 last had an album out in 2003, called “One Wish: The Holiday Album,” which as you know had a Christmas theme to it. Before that, it was Just Whitney in 2003, and was not her best work. Whitney was huge in the ’80s and ’90s, but her life went downhill when she married Bobby Brown. The last decade was the worst for Houston, who had drink and drug problems.

It is great to see that Whitney Houston is ready to start over, let us hope that all those years of abuse have not taken its toll on that beautiful voice.
