Football fans will see the 19th World Cup kick off in Johannesburg, South Africa on June 11th 2010. And according to dailymail.co.uk, it will certainly be ideal for all those sports fans who don’t mind combining goals with a bit of sightseeing.
Apparently four of the last five World Cups have been in Germany, France, America and Italy, so fans can look forward to it being hosted somewhere totally different. And apparently it is the first World Cup that has been held on African soil.
One of the host cities is supposedly Cape Town. And it seems as though British globetrotters could have a very good reason to do that bit of sightseeing, as Northern Ireland, Scotland and England are all currently positioned to handily qualify.
