Lil Wayne releases Kobe Bryant song for NBA Finals

We have just seen the start of the NBA finals and it seems as though American rapper Lil Wayne has released a song just in time for the finals. The song is titled “Kobe Bryant” and is obviously about the NBA star that plays for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Kobe and his team are battling it out with Orlando Magic in the NBA finals. According to rightcelebrity.com, rapper Lil Wayne did once refer to himself as the “Kobe Bryant of hip-hop.” He is apparently a fan of the Lakers’ player and is inspired by Bryant.

The song actually pays tribute to the NBA superstar and I’m sure the lyrics are enough to make Bryant blush and make his ego bigger than it already is. The lyrics include the words “Kobe doing work / 2-4 on my shirt / He’s the greatest on the court / And I’m greatest on the verse.”
