French Open 2009: Roger Federer Attacked

As we said in an earlier post this morning, it was the French Open Men’s Final yesterday and Roger Federer won when he beat Robin Soderling. But according to dailycontributor.com, it wasn’t without its drama, when a slightly bizarre event occurred.

As you will see from the video below, during the second set of the match between Federer and Soderling, a fan that was waving a Barcelona flag, managed to climb onto the court and attempted to put a hat on Roger Federer’s head.

Federer then pushed the court intruder aside, whilst the security personnel ran onto the court to try to subdue the man. The guy then tried to get away and escape the security. He jumped over the net but was then tackled and carried out of the court.
