It was the French Open Men’s Final yesterday and Roger Federer took the victory and won the trophy when he beat surprise finalist Robin Soderling. According to twincities.com, Federer became the sixth man to win all four Grand Slam championships.
This is Federer’s fourteenth major title, which now matches the record of Sampras. And apparently he got a standing ovation from the crowds as he won and raised his arms in triumph. It was Andre Agassi who presented Federer with his trophy.
It did seem as though Soderling appeared nervous at the beginning of the Grand Slam final. Federer seemed pretty cool though, even when a spectator climbed onto the court and tried to put a hat on his head. He didn’t let that deter him at all and just carried on to win the title.

Yes Federer finally did it. He won French Open now we can safely say that he is the greatest player of all time. Some says it would have been different if Nadal was in final but I don’t think so, Nadal wasn’t playing as good as federer. FedEx defeated him easily in Madrid and would have done the same in Paris.
