US Open Tennis 2009: tickets on sale today

The tennis US Open is starting in August and according to tennisnews.com, it is expected to be the world’s highest attended sporting event. There will be over 250 of the world’s top tennis players from over 60 different countries that will compete in the 2 week event.

It will be held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. And apparently there will be individual session tickets that can be purchased as from Monday 8th June. You can get tickets from Radio City Music Hall box office as well as www.USOpen.org.

You will also be able to buy them from the box office at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The US Open will feature day and night sessions through the quarter finals. The finals will take place on Saturday 12th September and Sunday 13th September.
