Kris Allen fans and “American Idol” fans have been waiting patiently for news of the season 8 winner’s debut album. And according to Entertainment Weekly, it should be set for a late fall release.
The “American Idol” champ has now been signed by 19 Recordings and the debut album will be licensed to Jive Records. Fans would have probably already noticed that Allen’s initial single “No Boundaries was released under the 19/Jive banner.
Allen apparently said that although the last few months have been exciting, he is really looking forward to what is next. He has also commented that the music on the debut album will be definitely in the rock/pop genre.
