Liz Watson (Barry Bonds wife) files for divorce

The second wife of disgraced baseball player Barry Bonds has filed for a separation. According to nydailynews.com, Liz Watson who has been married to Bonds since 1998, has filed for the separation in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Apparently the legal papers say it is due to irreconcilable differences and request joint custody of their daughter Aisha Lynn who is 10. Bonds 44 and Watson 39, got together in 1994 just after Bonds’ nasty divorce from his first wife Susann Branco.

It is not clear whether the pair have a prenup or not, but it supposedly took six years for the courts to rule in Bonds’ favour over a prenuptial agreement that denied his first wife a share or her ex’s fortune. At the time Branco had said she had not understood the contract.
