It looks as though the new movie “The Hangover,” has boosted its way to the top spot at the box office for the weekend. According to Entertainment Weekly, “The Hangover” made $44.98 million and the Disney/Pixar movie “Up” made $44.14 million in the box office.
The movie “Up,” was at the top spot, but not for long. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis, who are the stars of “The Hangover” and the movie’s director Todd Phillips, have got things to celebrate though. The movie got an “A” CinemaScore rating.
And another good thing is that “The Hangover” drew as many women to the cinema as it did men. Its comedy competition in the box office will be the Jack Black and Michael Cera movie “Year One,” that’s due to be released in two weeks.
