Weeds Season 5 Premiere

It was the “Weeds” season 5 premiere last night and it saw the return of main character Nancy Botwin, who is played by Mary-Louise Parker. According to avclub.com, it just carried on from where it left off in season 4 and Nancy being across the border in Mexico.

For the first episode, it concentrates on the fallout after Nancy announces to the Mexican drug kingpin Esteban that he is the father of her unborn child. She also told Andy she was pregnant and there was a bit of tension between Nancy’s two sons.

Apparently, the two sons Silas and Shane are being shipped to their aunt Jill, who is being played by Jennifer Jason Leigh and Shane is still selling pot. And finally, Celia is continuing her confinement at the hands of daughter Quinn and her boyfriend.
