As we mentioned in an earlier post, Poison’s singer Bret Michaels had an accident at the weekend, when he was trying to exit the stage at the Tony Awards. And he apparently suffered a broken nose and had to have three stitches.
And now, according to rollingstone.com, a rep for Michaels has spoken out about the incident and about the injuries he sustained. The rep apparently said that the Tony’s and its host Neil Patrick Harris acted inappropriately at the time.
A statement that was released was criticizing the Tony’s for not warning Michaels about the set piece being used and not stopping it once it hit him. It also said that reports that Michaels was joking about it after weren’t true.
