
Well, yesterday saw the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft upon us and I’m sure MLB fans will be waiting to see what players are picked by their favorite teams. And apparently there were representatives from the 30 league teams sorting through player information.
You can see the full list via realgmbaseball.com, but we have a few results here. In round one, the Nationals’ number one pick was Stephen Strasburg from San Diego State. The Mariners chose Dustin Ackley and Pirates picked Tony Sanchez.
Michael Leake went to the Reds, Jacob Turner was chosen for the Tigers and Chad Jenkins went to the Blue Jays. Round 2 saw Everett Williams go to the Padres, Tommy Joseph go to the Giants, Eric Smith be chosen for the Diamondbacks and Robert Stock to the Cardinals.
