King of Pop Michael Jackson is apparently being sued by a concert promoter according to ew.com. Jackson is being sued up to $40 million for supposedly breaching a contract. The singer was meant to be performing with other members of the Jackson family for a reunion concert.
But in the lawsuit, which was filed recently in Manhattan, Allgood Entertainment said that it had agreed with Jackson’s manager, who was Frank DiLeo at the time that Michael was to perform with the Jackson family. There was possibly going to be a pay-per-view event also.
But, the company are now claiming that when Jackson agreed to perform his O2 concerts in London, he violated the terms of his contract in doing so. The agreement was that he was forbidden to perform in any other capacities before the reunion concert and for at least 3 months after.
