Top Chef Masters 2009

If you are anything like me and like your reality shows, but you also like your cooking shows, then you may well have seen “Top Chef Masters” last night. It is a spin off from the original “Top Chef” and is apparently hosted by food journalist Kelly Choi.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the show is basically where two dozen well-established chefs compete against each other. And apparently they all take the competition very seriously. It is very different from “Top Chef” as the chefs there could well be classed as amateurs.

In “Top Chef Masters,” the chefs do not make many mistakes. Apparently, when one chef’s cakes didn’t rise, the others just laughed and told him it happens. Did you watch the show last night and if you did, what did you actually think of it?
