Adam Lambert 20/20 Interview: American Idol and Rolling Stone

Adam Lambert, runner up of American Idol says that he feels relieved after coming out by saying “a weight has been lifted off his shoulders”. Fans suspicions were confirmed by rollingstone.com that he is indeed gay as reported in a previous post.
The runner up also admitted that he had a bit of a crush on the American Idol winner Kris Allen as we previously reported. Super talented Adam Lambert is worried that people will put his sexuality before his talent and that shouldn’t be the case.
The announcement that Adam Lambert came officially in the new issue of Rolling Stone that he is in fact gay and a new interview with 20/20 reported Chris Connelly was able to prise more information out of Adam.
Lambert says in the interview that “I am gay and I’m very comfortable with it. I have been for a long time. I think it’s funny when people are like ‘Oh, he’s been hiding it!’”.
Chris Connelly also asks the question “Are you bi-curious?” to which Adam replies “I wouldn’t ever give myself a label bi-sexual but bi-curious, Yeah”

Love this guy he has a lot of style and I can’t believe he was never picked up to be a model. Every outfit he wears has something in it I want to buy. His self expression is empowering and I can’t wait to hear what he has to say in his music. His being gay or bi-curious doesn’t come close to what interests me about him. I love his artistic talent. That is what draws me to him. He’s going to be huge! I’m thinking Elvis huge!

He’s articulate, witty, talented, gorgeous, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him (and his fans!) With the Rolling Stone interview and the 20/20 appearance, Adam has taken control of his life and just maybe we can focus on his artistry more than his personal life, for awhile anyway.

Adam, that was a great interview. I am pretty sure it is awful to tell it on National Television. Now those speculation can leave you alone about your private matter. I just hate to see the haters will mocked you even more. Ignore them their opinion is not relevant to what your plans are. Focus on your awesome music, and can’t hardly wait for the new album. Two things you need to do here, give us a Hit song and get that CD on top of the music chart and you got it made. We luv you even more and support you all the way. Way to go Adam, we are proud of you, your Mom is awesome!!
ADAM has taken the Idol world by storm and the world for that matter. ADAM has more fans outside of US. And we are all awaiting his first album but more so for his solo concert.
We’ve not seen multi talented total performer and consummate entertainer oozing with sex appeal with drop dead gorgeous looks as ADAM. He absolutely excites, thrills and electrifies. He is simply overwhelming. A sensational phenomenon. So charismatic. So stunning.
But what really is amazing with all these is that he is a humble, honest and a genuine person. And he is a smart communicator, very articulate. I love his candor.
ADAM will go far and will be very successful, a legend in the making. I bless him and I’m a fan for life.

Adam I love your voice and hope you put out a record with a lot of your ballad songs…I don’t care if you are gay, I have been married for 33years, but I don’t think you should exploit it in all of the young girls faces that thinks you are wonderful, and I think you are the most awesome person and singer that has come out, since Elvis and made American idol the best season ever….If not for you I would not have watched AI..I wish you the best…

so glad both RS and 20/20 chose to showcase adam. boy does he deserve it. both interviews revealed him to be genuine, funny, charming, intelligent — all that to go along with his amazing talent. think adam might be a bit too spontaneous and revealing at this point in his career. the media can have a field day with some of the stuff he gave them. . . but that’s one of the reason’s he will remain so endearing to his fans while they hold their breaths for his next release. (omg, that tiny clip of him rehearsing “fame” on 20/20 was such a colosal tease! please i tunes, can we have it now!!).
@Wendy: He cannot become a model because he is too fat ! Hope Adam will lose weight and keep his body fit with sports or physical exercise. A gorgeous face will look even more gorgeous on a fit body !
Lina: Boy, you really proliferate the poor societal image of to be a model, you have to be anorexic. Adam, fat? Hot is hot, and I’d put him on a runway, on a magazine cover and anywhere else because of his inside and outside beauty. He’s just right – and his body rocks as much as his singing, which more people should focus on.
