An official statement has finally been released by Poison’s singer Bret Michaels regarding the incident that happened at the Tony Awards. The video of Michaels getting slammed on the head by a stage prop after his performance, has possibly been seen by millions.
According to rollingstone.com, Michaels said that as funny as it has maybe been to watch, it was a painful experience. He apparently reiterates what his representative originally said and claims that he wasn’t told about the moving set piece at his rehearsal.
Although Michaels claims that he doesn’t believe that the accident was in any way malicious, he did find Tony’s statement and their comments saying that he just missed his mark and was uninjured in the incident irresponsible.
