It is T20 World Cup cricket at the moment and yesterday saw the match between England and India. And it was England that took the victory as they defeated India. And according to sports.in.msn.com, there were a few key factors why the game went in England’s favor.
It seemed as though former England captain Kevin Pietersen dominated the Indian attack at Lords. He and Bopara added 71 runs for the second wicket. That was in just over 9 overs. We also saw some excellent glove work from James Foster in the fourteenth over.
It was England’s pace bowler Ryan Sidebottom’s first match of the Twenty20 World Cup. And he certainly showed he was worthy of it when he dismissed India’s Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina and reduced India to 24 for 2 in the 4th over.
