David Letterman Apologizes after Sarah Palin joke

Finally the feud between Sarah Palin and David Letterman could be resolved. According to ew.com, David has apparently apologised for the joke that has outraged many people about Sarah Palin’s daughter. David is going to use the latest episode of the show to apologize.

As we have already mentioned in a previous post, it all started when David made a joke about Palin’s daughter being raped and at the time, he thought he was actually talking about Sarah’s 18 year old daughter Bristol. Letterman claims he has never made jokes like this before.

He unfortunately outraged not just the Alaska governor and her family, but also the general public. In fact he disgusted some people so much with his actions that they started up rallies to try and get him fired as mentioned in an earlier post. David has commented that he is truly sorry.
