War Angel Mixtape Dropped by 50 Cent

Rapper 50 Cent dropped his new mixtape “War Angel” last night as a free download on his website. He is apparently releasing three before his new studio album “Before I Self Destruct” comes out in September, with “War Angel” being the first of the three.

The mixtape includes the gritty “Redrum” and “C.R.E.A.M. 2,” which is a sequel of sorts to Wu-Tang Clan’s tune “C.R.E.A.M.” According to rollingstone.com, War Angel” does go a bit heavy on the violent lyrics, but that is understandable given the title.

But apparently 50 Cent does take a brief two-song break from that with the soulful tune “I’ll Do Anything” and also “London Girl.” And it looks as though many of the rapper’s fans have already visited the 50 Cent website and downloaded the album.
