
Actor and heartthrob to many Robert Pattinson, who is best known for his role as Edward Cullen in the “Twilight” movies, was reportedly hit by a taxi cab in New York City on Thursday afternoon. According to Entertainment Weekly, it was when Robert 23, was trying to escape fans.
The actor is currently in Manhattan filming his new movie “Remember Me” and has apparently been hounded by fans that are keen to get a look at their idol. It was reported that Pattinson tried to run across the street near to the Strand bookstore and was clipped on the hip by a cab.
It didn’t seem serious though and the driver did apparently stop on impact. Robert, who has supposedly hired his own security team recently, seemed to walk away from the scene and didn’t appear to be seriously hurt. Robert’s fans will now be waiting for the movie’s release.
