This years US Golf Open has been nothing short of entertaining. One of the highlights from a generous fan offering David Paterson a beer, Paterson reacted with “Finally! Thank you.”

You can read the full article at the Los Angeles Times of the ups and downs so far from the US Open and if you visit the official USGA site then you can view the leader board where you will find a surprise leader Lucas Glover who doesn’t even feature in the top 20 in the world.

Something that cannot be ignored is the popularity of Phil Mickelson, once again at the people’s open he is the people’s choice. The world number 2 is currently in T12, he will be hoping for better progression throughout the remainder of the tournament.

What do you think about the surprise leader and who do you think will be triumphant and win the trophy?

  1. Mr Dee says:

i think Mr Glover will take the trophy this year and it’ll be a first.

  2. Who is going to be Tiger Woods next coach? I wonder if he’s going to pick a big name swing coach or possibly a less famous one? It will be interesting to see how this will play out. But you would figure at this point in his career, does he still really need one? Do you think Jim McLean would be interested in being his swing coach?
