Play for the 2009 US Golf Open finished at 8 p.m. EST Sunday, and as yet there was no winner declared. Both Rick Barnes and Lucas Glover remained at the top of the 2009 US Golf Open Standings leaderboard. They are 7 under par after one hole being played in the final round.
The cameras have for a while been trained on a man who has been around 3 or 4 shots over par, while the leader was on 10 under par. Why has a man so low down in the standings been the focus of much media attention, well because it is Tiger Woods.
Bleacherreport.com hopes that Tiger Woods will be able to come back from this, but could we be asking too much from the great man. He would be in a better position if he had the full 18 holes to play with, but this is not the case, as he only has 11 holes left to play.
