It was game 1 of the College World Series baseball last night and the game was between the Texas Longhorns and the LSU Tigers. And according to statesman.com, it was the LSU Tigers that took victory over Game 1 when they defeated the Texas Longhorns.
Apparently it seemed as though the Longhorns were in the driving seat for once throughout the game, but they lost it at the end and LSU won. The Tigers were two runs down in the ninth inning in last night’s game, but then LSU’s DJ Lemahieu hit a two-run double.

That tied them with Texas at that stage of the game. But then the Tigers managed to come out on top and won the game in the eleventh inning when Mikie Mahtook scored an RBI single, which then took the LSU Tigers to their 7-6 victory.
