Johnny Depp plays Mad Hatter

Well I have to say, we have certainly seen actor Johnny Depp play some odd characters in his movies throughout his career. For example, he really put his own mark on Willy Wonka in the movie “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”

And now, according to eonline.com, Depp has been cast as the Mad Hatter in the upcoming Tim Burton movie “Alice in Wonderland,” which is apparently hitting the movie theaters on March 5th 2010.

This will be the seventh time that Depp works with his director friend Burton, who has put his own mad and creepy style to the Lewis Carroll classic. I’m sure Johnny Depp fans will be waiting to watch the movie when it’s released.
