Last night saw the premiere of a new reality TV competition show called “The Superstars,” in which celebrities and athletes pair up and compete. According to abclocal.go.com, the show is a rework of “Battle of the Networks Stars” that aired between the 1970’s and 1980’s.
And apparently, some of the athletes and stars that are participating in the competition show include pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, former Lakers pro Robert Horry and actor David Charvet, who supposedly had his significant other Brooke Burke, behind the scenes.

Each athlete pairs up with a star to make eight teams, then they battle it out with tasks including biking, running, kayaking and finally they have to attack the dreaded obstacle course. It was filmed in the Bahamas and is being aired on the ABC network.
