The reviews are now in for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen and it seems that the movie has been getting some mixed reviews, most of them not that great though. The plot to the movie is a bit lame, but we do not watch these kinds of movies for the plot line. I only watch the movie for two reasons, the first is the cool robots, and the second is the sexy Megan Fox.
Let us take a closer look and have a review roundup, and then we will be able to gauge the overall reaction of the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

The Examiner says that the new movie surpasses it predecessor in every way. They mention how much better the special effects are, this can be seen in scenes where Optimus Prime is talking, you can now see that the face moves more. Each Autobot and Decepticon has much more detail; they have certainly had an upgrade.
The Wall Street Journal says that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a horrible experience, and is far too long. They also say that the movie has an intelligence at the level of the simple-minded, so we know where their review is going.
E! Online explains that the new movie is much the same is the first, expect there are now more robots, as well as more scenes with Megan Fox, and who can fine a thought with that. Those who hated the first movie will certainly be annoyed with this one.
The Huff Post reckons that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is shocking when it comes to the entertainment value; the plot is complicated and is beside the point. The movie is as long as the superb Dark Knight, but has a lot less substance to it.
The Los Angeles Times firstly talks about how the first movie only had 14 bone-crushing robots, now there are 46. LA Times believes that there are now too many robots in this movie, and that it will collapse under its own weight.
